I’m a photographer and teacher located in northwest Fort Worth and I absolutely love having the opportunity to share this passion with my clients. I established Henfia Photography to provide former clients a name to give others, but also to open new doors to turn a serious hobby into something more substantial and meaningful. The ultimate reward is being able to hone my craft even further.

Art has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Austin, it’s kind of something that’s just part of being an Austinite. Visits to museums, galleries, theaters, and concerts were the norm and I definitely can attribute those experiences to an early appreciation for various art forms. Photography has always caught my eye because of how dynamic the approaches can be; the artist’s perspective is beautifully revealed in a way that cannot be duplicated in exactly the same way with exactly the same elements.

I began my focus in landscape and architecture photography, heavily involved in urban exploration and capturing abandoned structures. I frequently took entire weekends to comb the surrounding counties for something that piqued my interest, or stood out from the surrounding area. From there, I began blending the surreal allure of urbex with portrait work to create haunting, unique, and memorable images.

I love working with clients to find creative moments that leave people in awe. Whether it’s an individual, family, or pet portrait, or if you’re looking for something with a sharp creative edge, I will develop a plan to meet your needs.
